Serving you and your pets during COVID-19

We at Occoquan Animal Hospital recognize our vital role in the community and are committed to doing our best to continue to serve you and your pets. In order to do that, we must stay healthy. It is essential that if you are sick or experiencing any symptoms relating to Covid-19, that you do not come to the office. If this applies to you, please reach out to us and we will do our best to accommodate you. Thank you for doing your part to help us better serve you.

Check in procedure:

Please call or text us upon arrival to check in for your visit. If you do not have a phone please come inside and speak with our front desk staff. Our lobby remains closed at this time during our walk-in hours. We are limiting the number of people in our lobby at any given time.

When checking in, you will be asked to provide the name on your account, your pet’s name, reason for visit, the color/make of your vehicle and phone number.

Once it is your pet’s turn to be seen, our staff will come to your vehicle and bring you and your pet inside.

If you are coming to pick up medication, please come inside and speak with our front desk. If you are unable to come inside you may call or text us to let us know you are in our parking lot.

If you opt to check in for your visit over text, please provide our staff with the following information:

  • First and last name on your account

  • The name of your pet(s) being seen during your visit

  • The reason for your visit

  • The make and color of your vehicle

Once you receive a response from our staff, you are checked in and can wait in your vehicle. A staff member will lead you inside when it is your pet’s turn to be seen. Thank you!
